Gorgeous figure

I got this figure during his THIRD release, and I can honestly say without a doubt that he deserves every release, and I'm confident that if he ever got a fourth release he would sell out again. This figure is just that good.

The details are stunning, especially the acrylic plate used for the stained glass. It was a little tricky to slot in during assembly (he takes very minimal assembly. The pipe needs to be placed in his hand, the stained glass in the back of the figure, and the shoe placed on the ground). He is best displayed in front of a light background, or possibly even some gentle lighting, to let the colour really shine through. My current display setup is black, so unfortunately his colours are dulled, but it's nothing that putting a piece of printer paper behind him won't help.

The one loose shoe is a nice touch, it allows some customization (albeit very small) to display him exactly the way you'd like.

My only criticism with this figure is that on his kimono sleeves, the colour blocks are separated by a thin white line. On mine (and I believe this was an issue specifically related to his 3rd release), one of the white lines separating the green and purple on his left arm is missing. It doesn't impact the enjoyment of the figure at all however, since the detail is so small and hard to notice unless you're looking for it.

The box is beautifully designed, it's more cube shaped rather than the usual rectangular. The mostly black design with pops of colour and windows to view the figure would allow him to look nice even if he were displayed in box. I do feel like the box itself had too much empty space around the figure, and that the blister pack is too large. The box is beautiful, but awkward and bulky to store.

Overall, this figure is a genuine 10/10, and I would recommend him to any fans of the anime, or even just people who like unique looking high-quality figures.
